Room 5064 is a creative collective based in Manchester creating events, publications, and productions culturally rich in character, incident, and history. Working with new and established writers and the finest talent in Manchester, Room 5064 has been a champion of the underdog for nearly a decade.
Room 5064 has been producing music and stage events in Manchester and beyond having contributed content to the Starburst International Film Festival, Sci-Fi Weekender and working with project partners including the British Film Institute, ITV and Dave.
Room 5064 has been responsible for nearly 40 of Manchester’s most acclaimed theatre productions ranging from adaptations of Halo Jones and Coronation Street through to original biographical works with work traveling to the Edinburgh Fringe and The British Library.
Original audio drama, comics, books and magazines are all in production for Room 5064. Their first audio drama, an adaptation of the critically acclaimed 'We Apologise for the Inconvenience' will be followed by an adaptation of Ramsey Campbell's 'The Hungry Moon' in October 2020.
